Bushido helps you transform that vision into reality, from research to product delivery.

No handoffs. No middlemen. One team, the whole product.

What does Bushido do?

Bushido is a boutique, AI-native digital product studio in Novi Sad, Serbia. We design and build software end to end — product strategy, UX and UI design, web and mobile engineering, backend, smart contracts and AI features — for founders and product teams. Since 2017 we have shipped fintech, Web3 and marketplace products for clients across the US, UK and EU. A product team of builders, not a dev shop — we ship our own products alongside our partners’.

Product & design

Decide before you build

Discovery, product definition, UX and UI. We shape the thing before we make it, so the first release answers a real question instead of guessing at one.

Where most engagements start

MVPs that survive their own success

Web, mobile and backend in TypeScript, React, React Native, Next.js, Node, Python and AWS. Built to be extended, not thrown away the week after the pitch lands.

Harden

Prototype to production

Your demo works. Production is a different animal. Architecture, auth, data model, tests, CI and observability — until it can carry real users and real money.

AI

AI features and agents in your product

Retrieval, evaluations, guardrails, human-in-the-loop. We build the AI layer the way we build everything else: with something to measure it against before it meets a user.

Migrate

Webflow and WordPress to Astro

Off the page builder, onto Astro. Static-fast pages, real Core Web Vitals, semantic HTML, structured data that answer engines can actually read — and a repository you own outright.

Web3

Smart contracts and on-chain products

Solidity, ERC-20 and ERC-721, wallet flows, custody, on-chain provenance. We shipped a crypto-to-fiat gateway and a token rewards marketplace, both live.

The tools changed. The standard did not.

*An agentic workflow is one where AI does the work and a builder who has shipped before decides what “done” means.

What does AI-native actually mean here?

Bushido has always run small and fast — builders, no layers, no handoffs. AI did not replace that, it armed it. We run agentic workflows across discovery, design exploration, implementation, code review, test generation and documentation, so most of each week goes into architecture and product judgement rather than typing. The practical result: scope that used to need a floor of twelve, delivered by three.

We are a product team, not a development shop. We were raised in startup action and we build products of our own, so when we tell you to cut a feature it is because we have already paid for that mistake ourselves.

Speed is the easy part. Anyone can generate a thousand lines an hour; the discipline is knowing which ten to keep. Every line an agent writes is read by a builder who will still be here when it breaks.

We do not ship what we have not read. We do not hand over a codebase nobody on the team can explain. And we will tell you when the fastest path is the wrong one.

Partnerships we seek

A dedicated marketplace where ENS brokers sell .eth domains on behalf of their holders, with offers found nowhere else. Two Bushido developers built the storefront, admin page, marketplace smart contract and backend in three weeks. A collection of 6,400 dynamic NFTs that followed TBT, The Basketball Tournament, as it was played: 100 tokens for each of its 64 teams, each showing its team’s live score or next opponent. When a team was eliminated, its tokens turned into participation trophies, until only the champion’s 100 remained. Two Bushido developers built the smart contracts, backend and free, whitelist-only mint page in two months. Stack: Solidity, Hardhat and OpenZeppelin on Ethereum, Next.js, and SST on AWS.

Daily NFT auctionOn-chain generative art · DAO Fully on-chain NFTs, 1,000× cheaper to mint. 1,000×cheaper to mint

A generative NFT collection that lives entirely on Ethereum and mints a new token only on days the ETH price rises, read from a Chainlink price feed. The stronger the run, the rarer the token. Each one is auctioned for a day, and most of the proceeds go to a Nouns-style DAO whose holders vote on how to spend them. One Bushido developer built it in four months, and SVG fragment reuse made minting 1,000× cheaper.

  • 1,000×lower minting cost, by reusing SVG fragments instead of storing repeated art
  • 0off-chain storage: no IPFS, no server — art, metadata and DAO live on Ethereum
  • 1developer, four months, from contracts to DAO

Straight answers. No discovery call required.

What does Bushido do?

Bushido is a boutique, AI-native digital product studio in Novi Sad, Serbia. We design and build software end to end - product strategy, UX and UI design, web and mobile engineering, backend, smart contracts and AI features - for founders and product teams. We are a product team of builders rather than a development shop: raised in startup action, shipping our own products since 2017 as well as our partners’.

Is Bushido a design agency or a development agency?

Both, and that is the point. Product strategy, UX and UI design and engineering sit in one small team, so the people making design decisions are the people who will build them. Nothing is thrown over a wall, because there is no wall.

What does it mean that Bushido is AI-native?

It means agentic workflows run through the whole delivery process: discovery and research, design exploration, implementation, code review, test generation and documentation. Most of each week goes into architecture and product judgement instead of typing. Scope that used to need twelve people is delivered by three.

Do you use AI agents to write our code?

Yes, under review. Agents draft, refactor, generate tests and write documentation. A builder on the team reads every line before it merges and owns it afterwards. We do not ship code nobody on the team can explain, and we will not hand you a repository you cannot maintain.

Do you build AI features and agents into products?

Yes. Retrieval, evaluations, guardrails and human-in-the-loop review, built the same way we build everything else - with something to measure it against before it reaches a user. AI that cannot be evaluated is a demo, not a feature.

Can Bushido take our proof of concept or prototype to production?

Yes, and it is one of the things we do most often. We harden a working prototype into a production system: architecture, authentication and authorisation, a real data model, automated tests, CI/CD and observability, so it can carry real users, real data and real money. AnyoneGroup went from clickable prototype to launched marketplace in six months.

Do you migrate websites from Webflow to Astro?

Yes. We move marketing sites off Webflow, WordPress and other page builders onto Astro. You get static-fast pages and genuine Core Web Vitals, clean semantic HTML, structured data that search and answer engines can read, a redirect map that protects your rankings, and a codebase your own team can extend.

What kinds of products has Bushido built?

Fintech, Web3 and marketplace products. CachePay, a crypto-to-fiat payment gateway for e-commerce merchants. An ERC-20 utility token and digital-offer marketplace for Catblox. Flur, a Patreon-style platform where creators sell collectible editions. AnyoneGroup, a two-sided marketplace for group discounts. And a Web3 gallery tying physical artworks to on-chain provenance.

How small is small, and why does it matter?

Most engagements run with two to four builders plus a delivery manager. Small is not a limitation we apologise for, it is the reason decisions take minutes instead of meetings - and being AI-native is what lets a team that size take on a scope that used to need a floor.

Where is Bushido based and which time zones do you work in?

Novi Sad, Serbia, in Central European Time. We work across EU and UK business hours and overlap with US Eastern most afternoons.

How do we start working together?

Book a 30-minute call or email vision@bshdo.co. The first call is with an engineer rather than a salesperson, and its only job is to work out whether this is a problem we are the right team for. If it is not, we will say so.

At Bushido we build with purpose and speed.

Builders, agentic tooling and bushi principles — so the thing you imagined ships while it still matters.
